Thailand

In my second post I will tell you a little bit about my hostcountry or rather hostprovince.

In general, Thailand lies in the southeast of Asia, next to Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia and right at the Gulf of Thailand.
Thailand is seperated in 76 provinces. In my exchange year I will stay in the province Trat (ตราด).
Trat is located in the south-east of Thailand. It`s population is about 225,000 wich is much more than the population in the village I lived in Germany
The province includes 40 Islands, one of it is Koh Chang (เกาะช้าง).
My first hostfamily always spend their weekend at this Island because they have a Resort there!
Koh Chang is a Tropical Island, so I will see free- living monkeys and also elephants, it`s amazing!
